Stomp The Runway Fashion Show

The 2016 Stomp The Runway fashion show is produced by Rashad Corey Productions along with Fashion Group International of Philadelphia, Rebel Hill Consulting, UrsulaStylesMe and a team of fashion insiders. This year’s event will focus on the fight against sexual abuse, by benefiting Women Organized Against Rape.  Statistics gathered from the Philadelphia Police Department show that reported rapes in Philadelphia have risen from 922 in 2012, to 1190 in 2015…a 29% increase.  It is paramount that Philadelphians supports WOAR and other organizations that provide services to the victims of this growing epidemic and help to reduce this disturbing trend. We must also raise awareness about the warning signs of sexual abuse and support programs that teach self-defense and reduce risk factors.

Stomp The Runway Against Sexual Abuse will take place at 2300 Arena on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Doors to the event will open at 7pm, welcoming guests to a vendor’s village with booths and displays from our participating sponsors and a exclusive Red Carpet Hour for VIP ticket holders. The runway show will begin at 8pm with a moving dramatic dance interpretation that highlights the scourge of sexual abuse and the courageous transformation from victimhood to survivorship. Throughout the show, there will be artisitic expression of survivorship and awareness. The show will consist of five high-energy shows: Ready to Wear, Couture, Plus Size, Menswear and a Celebrity Catwalk. Each show will feature Philadelphia’s top designers and models, with appearances by some of the area’s most influential celebrities including TV/Radio personalities and athletes.
